🚛 Shipping Costs & Schedule

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout. Choosing a faster shipping method (e.g. PostPac Priority vs. Economy) does not mean you order will be shipped immediately, as the shipping method does not affect processing time.

We usually process and ship orders twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays. On both days, we usually process orders placed until the day before. Orders placed on the same day may not be processed yet.

When we are on a regular schedule, Tuesday is our primary roast day for online store orders received by Monday. Exceptions may occur.

📦 Stock Availability, Pre-Orders, Partial Shipment

Lead time for pre-orders/backorders (orders for products that are out of stock) is generally longer and may be several months in some cases. Please refer to the product's description in our store, which provides more information about the expected lead time in some cases.

Stock availability is displayed in our online store for each product. This information is very reliable. However, it is not possible to avoid stock discrepancies completely. Therefore, delays in shipping can occur on very rare occasions. All delivery times stated are indicative and non-binding.

We do not typically offer partial shipping of orders. Therefore, if one product in your order is out of stock, your order won't be shipped until all items are back in stock. For partial shipments, please place separate orders or get in touch if your order was already placed.

🇨🇭 Switzerland & Liechtenstein

Shipping within Switzerland and Liechtenstein is conducted by the Swiss Post. Orders are shipped with PostPac Priority or PostPac Economy and in 99% of cases with a tracking number.

Shipping within Switzerland & Liechtenstein:
PostPac Economy up to 2kg: CHF 7.00
PostPac Priority up to 2kg: CHF 9.00

🌍 International Orders

We ship to most countries in the world. Orders are shipped with a tracking number in most cases and either with the Swiss Post or with FedEx. International express shipping is usually carried out by FedEx and is delivered within 1-2 working days of dispatch in most countries.

European Union

All orders shipped to the European Union include taxes and duties, as displayed on the product page and during checkout. So you won't have to worry about unexpected costs related to customs.

Please note: In exceptional cases, additional fees levied by local authorities may apply, which are out of our control and are the customer’s (your) responsibility. One such fee we are not able to cover is the French TPC («taxe sur les petits colis»), which may be charged to you upon arrival.

Rest of the World

Please note that taxes, customs and handling fees are likely to be charged by the authorities or freight companies in the destination country. These costs are not included in the price we charge and we do not take responsibility for these.

Heavy Orders

We usually split international orders weighing more than 10kg into multiple parcels weighing max. 10kg each. These parcels will be sent as separate shipments as this allows us to offer you the lowest possible shipping costs.

For example, if you order goods with a total weight of 18kg, we will create two separate shipments of 8-10kg each. This mean that you may have to pay customs duty on the two shipments separately. For easier customs clearance, read the following section on DDP shipping.

Customs-Cleared Shipping (Duties & Taxed paid)

If you are in Switzerland, Liechtenstein or the European Union, you don't have to worry about taxes or duties. If your delivery address is elsewhere and you want to avoid unexpected costs related to customs, we offer customs-cleared shipping options upon request («duties & taxes paid»).

This means you would not have to expect any additional costs for customs handling—duties, customs fees and taxes would be included in your shipping rate. For this reason, shipping with duties and taxes paid is more expensive than regular shipping. However, this is often a cheaper option than handling import yourself.

Shipping with duties and taxes paid for countries outsides Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the EU is not available as an option in our online store by default. Please get in touch if you are interested and we will be happy to create a shipping quote for you.

🌳 Carbon-Neutral Delivery

All orders we ship with the Swiss Post are processed «carbon-neutrally».
