This is Hario's version of the immersion method which leads to characteristics found in coffee made by French Press and Siphons and gives the coffee its deep aroma, while pour-over method preserves the cleanliness of it. The device allows for repeatability in coffee making. Every single time we can expect a very similar result which makes it a great solution for comparing different coffee beans. The infusion process should take around 2 minutes.
The Hario switch is also available in a set with a server, fitting paper filters and a serving spoon.
