Easy to use, simple and reliable: That's the Timemore Black Mirror Basic Plus Coffee Scale. A sleek, simple device without many extras and without Bluetooth. However, it does come with an auto mode now: An automated timer begins to count once you start pouring. Alternatively, you can still start the timer manually, of course.
The revised version is faster resp. more responsive than its predecessor and they added the auto feature. Fortunately, the scale still comes in a convenient size and light weight.
The scale has a LED display and can be charged via its USB-C port. The surface is waterproof (the charging port is not). A silicon pad makes sure your portafilter or glass carafe stay where they are. After five minutes without using the scale, it switches off automatically.
The price includes the prepaid recycling charge (vRG) of CHF 0.56.
