Drip Bags Mexico Maricela
Drip Bags Mexico Maricela
The coffee we ship is usually roasted within the last two weeks.
Drip bags are a coffee staple across Japan, Taiwan and South Korea and are quickly taking over the world. No scale, no gooseneck kettle, no fancy equipment required: These single-use filter bags fold out and sit on the rim of a cup. You pour hot water through and you have a proper hand brew. Simply enjoy your specialty coffee wherever you are, be it at the top of a mountain, in a hotel room or on a plane.
Each of our drip bags contains 12g of Mexico Maricela, a sustainably sourced, light-roasted natural from the Sierra Mazateca in Oaxaca, Mexico. The coffee is sweet like candy, full of ripe fruit notes, yet clean and juicy – think cherry, mango, red berries and grape. Produced by Maricela Esperón on her farm El Sótano, where the coffee goes through roughly an extended fermentation before being dried on raised beds for up to 45 days.
The sachets are nitrogen-flushed during packaging to preserve freshness and therefore have a shelf life of 12 months. The filter is industrially compostable and the sachet is recyclable in plastics.
Roasted in Bern. Store in a cool and dry place.
Drip bags are sold separately or in a box. The box contains 8 bags × 12g of specialty coffee.
Brew Guide
- Tear open the sachet at the notch, remove the drip bag and tear off the top of the filter along the mark.
- Extend the hangers, place on your cup and get ready to pour. If available, use water just off boil.
- Fill the coffee filter with water halfway, then wait for 30 seconds.
- Top up the filter 3 more times, letting the water draw down between pours until the coffee bed is nearly dry.
- Once the water has completely drained through the coffee bed, lift the drip bag from the cup and discard.
- Enjoy your coffee.
