The B3 Specialty Coffee Filter Technology has been developed together with Matt Winton (2021 World Brewers Cup Champion) during a whole year of prototyping and testing.

The B3 FLAT M paper filter made by Sibarist is a flatbed filter made using the B3 technology and Sibarist's FLAT filter design. Its shape provides a brew experience free from any obstacles, resulting in a super even extraction of the coffee particles, uniform turbulences and full access to the coffee bed. The B3's rigidness reduces contact surface with the dripper to a minimum and provides a fast extraction, while the material's thickness and low porosity help you to brew sweeter, yet clean cups of coffee, while avoiding bypass. «Fast flow, yet clean cup.»

The B3 HYBRID is a completely unique and innovative filter made with the B3 technology. It is designed for conical drippers to produce a hybrid between flat-bottom and cone brewing. The hybrid shape encourages the flow, providing a faster and higher extraction. At the same time, it reduces the risk of clogging that might occur using high-filtration materials, and helps avoid the accumulation of fines at the bottom of the filter. The B3's rigidness reduces contact surface with the dripper to a minimum and its porosity allows for clarity of flavor, helping you to make a balanced brew.

Sibarist paper filters are available in various designs and sizes, most of which we carry in our range. These filters are made in Spain near Barcelona by a coffee startup. They are made of 100% organic materials (abaca and pine fibers) and can thus be disposed along with your used coffee grounds in the organic waste or compost bin. The sealed packaging (with zipper, like our coffee bags) guarantees optimal conservation of the filters and prevents contamination from suspended particles and therefore flavors from being absorbed.
